MB-SR50N EFEKT
The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is used to make light curtain walls, suspended and filling, as well as roofs, skylights and other spatial structures.
Its load-bearing structure is based on the modern and proven MB-SR50N aluminum mullion and transom system, offering a wide range of profiles to choose from and the possibility of selecting sections that allow the surface of mullions and transoms to be flush on the inside of the facade, and thus for an aesthetic connection with elements of the interior of the building. It also ensures compatibility with other structures based on a wide base of Aluprof SA products.
MB-SR50N EFEKT is a facade in which, thanks to the use of a special system of fixing panes to mullions and transoms, we obtain a uniform image from the outside of a smooth glass wall divided by a structure of vertical and horizontal lines, two centimeters wide. The gaps between the glass fields of the façade are filled with a special silicone binder, which ensures high tightness of the structure and increases the insulating properties.
One of the main advantages of the MB-SR50N EFEKT façade are its extensive glazing options: the wide range of fillings available in the catalog includes one- or two-chamber glass, and opaque panels based on insulated glass. A real novelty and undoubtedly a hit in this type of facade is the possibility of using glass packages with laminated pane. The precisely developed infill fastening system allows flexible and economical adaptation to the technical requirements of a given project – it is varied depending on the weight of the glass and includes solutions enabling such a transfer of loads from the panes to the profiles, which allows their load capacity up to 450 kg. We have two standard variants of glass fixing at our disposal: with the use of a continuous or point frame, which allows for optimization of the production process and price. Another great advantage of the system is the fact that it has the recommendations of the three world’s leading suppliers of construction and weather silicones: Dow Corning, Sica and Tremco-Ilbruck, which not only increases the prestige of this solution, but ensures and guarantees the strength and tightness of the structure, as well as easy access to technology. among glass companies. In this system, it is also worth noting the possibility of using silicones in a variety of colors, which significantly broadens the spectrum of the façade’s aesthetics.
The facades made in the MB-SR50N EFEKT system have excellent performance parameters. Their use allows to obtain not only the desired facade aesthetics, but also very high thermal insulation, which, due to the strong, global trend aimed at reducing the energy consumption of buildings, is one of the main criteria for assessing modern curtain walls.
